"Charlie, I'm really worried about you," says Nick, played by Kit Connor, as relationship and identity struggles take center stage in the third season teaser of the British coming-of-age series.

In another scene, Charlie, portrayed by Joe Locke, responds, "I hate feeling like this. I don’t know what to do now," as his mental health issues, which were first hinted at in season two, become a key focus of the new season.

Their friends Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), Tao (William Gao), and Elle (Yasmin Finney) also deal with their own anxieties about growing up, as young love, sex, and university plans play important roles in their lives.

The third season trailer introduces Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey in a guest appearance as Jack Maddox, Charlie's celebrity crush.

Heartstopper, Netflix's adaptation of Alice Oseman's graphic novels about two teenage boys falling in love at school, quickly became a breakout hit for the platform when it debuted in April 2022.

The lingering glances and shy smiles between Charlie and Nick from the first two seasons culminate in a kiss on the rugby field, as teased in the third season trailer. However, they continue to struggle with expressing their feelings while attending their all-boys grammar school in the U.K.
