DEADPOOOOOLLL …: Deleted Dead Man Wade Scene Confirms Gambit Lives

As some of you may have heard, Ryan Reynolds confirmed in his Deadpool & Wolverine deleted scene posted to his social media that Channing Tatum‘s survived the battle together with Jennifer Garner’s Elektra on a Blade Runner-y art deco grid and Defne Keen's Laura/X-23 (Hey girl!)

By the time credits rolled, it remained unclear if any of those people who banded together to save Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin)'s henchmen actually made out alive on the other side. Add to that the fact that Tatum's now-infamous, heavily meme'd pitch for Gambit was spared.

The video doesn't show a whole lot, but it shows the backside of what looks like your main player walking through some henchmen on the ground and turns around to face us as the camera pans up to his head….and he smiles.

While there may not be any other Gambit projects currently in the works, his ability to make it out of Deadpool 3 alive, means he could potentially reappear for a stand-alone film or appear within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Cajun mutant had been lined up for a solo ttitle — one that was canned after Disney bought 21st Century Fox.

Over the weekend, when Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters in an Instagram post, Blink Twice star Currently top-paid actor Ryan Reynolds brought Gambit back to life after he thought he had lost him for good.

"[Reynolds] stood up for me and Gambit. I will probably owe this dude for the rest of my life. Though I'm not sure how i could ever do something that equals out to all of the love you given me. "Tatum penned “I love ya buddy. Shawn Levy as well. Such an amazing all around Creator, truly Everything happens for a reason. I feel so blessed to be in this movie. This is an absolute masterpiece for me. And just pure bad ass joy. Screamed like a banshee in the movie house. LFG!! ”

A week later, Reynolds kept the love coming when he praised Tatum for his performance as the superhero in a record-breaking box office hit.

“Gambit is the role Chan was born to play,” wrote the Free Guy star His journey is a lot like mine in that he spent 10 years trying to do it the most comic-booky way,” Channing explained. In Remy LeBeau's case, he is diligently grafted to his soul and must in turn come out (no pun intended) to face it. Gambit was seeking his author and got Chan.

One of the best and most interesting characters in Comics still yet to be fleshed out properly. I need more — and I gather you do as well, judging from the box office results. Of course, as nice it is to have new characters to cheer on we also need the opportunity for these heroes exiting stages too get a proper send off… root in Gambit. It's just as hard not to root for Chan. ” He is one of the best, most talented and also kindest man in this business.
